[“Who performs this naming of the gods?” – Heidegger] We’re having a ‘name the god’ contest. We’re tired of just addressing him as ‘God’; that’s too generic, too distancing. And it doesn’t highlight what He’s particularly good at, such as forgiving sins or creating something from nothing.
