“Therefore” / Memorable Fancies #4333

[“‘Why do / You thus devise / Evil against her?’ For that / She is beautiful, delicate: / Therefore.” – Adelaide Crapsey (1878-1914)]

Before I met her, and then I saw that

She was beautiful and delicate, too

But I devised evil against her.

And carried out my plan.

Now I am not

Beautiful and delicate

Anymore
