[“Thought withdrawal: The experience that somehow one’s thoughts have been taken away or removed from one’s head.” – Penguin Dictionary of Psychology]
Others are collecting my thoughts. When I’m around them I try not to have thoughts, or perhaps only the most trivial. I hum, chant “om” to myself, repeat a mythical street address over and over to hide my mind, as long as I’m within range of someone who might be collecting my thoughts.
Sad to say, it hasn’t worked well. I’ve been losing my thoughts. I went to the mythical street address to demand my thoughts back, but they said they’d never heard of me, gave me a piece of their mind as a consolation.
