Long ago, I had one of those “magic 8-balls” that answered questions. The ball had three possible responses: “Yes,” “No,” or “Try Again.”
More complex (and expensive) 8-balls could make additional responses, such as “none of your business,” although I am not sure I remember that response correctly. Perhaps it was none of my business.
To my frequent and urgent queries as to my own future, the ball answered,
