“Boo!” / Memorable Fancies #3946

       It wasn’t even a nickname, “Boo!,” just something said to a baby, hoping to get a response, maybe a giggle. – Something we say to babies.

       One of the wise men – one of the wise men looked down into His strawbed crib and called out to Him, softly, “Boo!”

       Just a gentle tease, you know, something we say to babies.

       But retaliation was swift and fierce.

       And not on that wise man alone, but on all of us even to this day: we were to know good and evil, from then on.

       Mostly evil, as it turned out.
