There is a school where we learn to sculpt statues and bring them to life. Pass or fail is based only on results, not on theory or skill or patience, or how impressive or beautiful the statue is.
The most unlikely lumps come alive, while some beautiful bodies remain – cold, never mind their precise imitation of human anatomy, manners, attitudes.
They made a statue of the one I love – and I didn’t know which was which.
