It’s not a simple matter to be admitted to the Chamber of Truth: there are tests, forms to fill out, references from lovers and employers, and not least, a hefty fee.
But, finally admitted to the Chamber’s dark recesses, you are permitted to tell yourself, perhaps for one last time, what you really believe. Not what you tell others you believe, not what you tell yourself you believe, but what you really believe, all the way down.
