“My Shadow” / Memorable Fancies #3212

       I spoke to my shadow, my secret ‘me.’

       At first, it didn’t answer.

       But after much coaxing on my part, it did.

       I asked it to tell me my faults, my illusions.

       And it did.

       Now I can’t get it to just shut the fuck up.
