My mystery novel is published. At first, nothing. But then reviews appear. I’m pleased that they’re favorable, some even enthusiastic. But I don’t recognize what they’re writing about it. – “Tom” – the hero. No, it was “James.”
And the plot – the reviews make it sound like my life, not what I wrote. Not at all. I never wrote about any murder I might have committed. Only about murders done by other people. I’m pretty sure of that.
And the murderer is still at large? What kind of novel would end that way?
