I’ll freely admit I am … whatever the experts are calling it now … ‘crazy’ it used to be, but we crazy persons called that word offensive, sane-ist. At my mental hospital, it’s called “the ‘C’-word,” never pronounced in full; not where the attending shrinks can hear it, anyway.

At the sound of that magic word of power “offensive,” my keepers backed away in alarm, muttering confessions of insensitivity and beating their metaphorical breasts.

After that I could have anything I wanted. No matter how crazy.
