I was apprenticed to a Master Sufferer at age seven. He taught me much, both by word and example. At age fourteen I became an officially licenced Junior Sufferer, and then, after many more painful years, finally became a Master Sufferer myself. I sought and found numerous apprentices, whom I made to suffer. To help them succeed in their painful, but chosen, career path.
