“How do you plead?”

“Knife wounds consistent with a high degree of passion…”

“Wounds … knife … the night …”

“Passion … passion … pleading …”

“the knife …”

He covers his ears with his hands, but his palm-flesh drums drums into his head the sounds of

“GUILTY!”  “GUILTY!”
