I made you. Not bodily, perhaps, but your mind. Maybe I made your mind. At least your memories. I’ve tried to excise those other memories you have, the ones you had …  before. As carefully as a surgeon.

And the memories you’re making, now, when you’re … somewhere: I will dememorize those, too.
