“Adulthood” / Memorable Fancies #1719

When we were first powered-up, our parent-machines kept close control of our remotes and wouldn’t let us touch them. Eagerly we awaited the day of our adulthood, when we would ceremoniously be handed our remotes, along with stern lectures about responsibility and the need to backup frequently.

Of course most of us just laughed at the idea of “responsibility,” and swapped remotes with our friends resulting in the hilarity of unexpected crashes in the middle of downloads, 404 NOT FOUNDs, and a few unfortunate blue screens of death.
