“Martinson’s Face” / Memorable Fancies #1421

Martinson seems to have invented a new facial expression. We see him make this face but don’t know what it means. It isn’t like anything we know: not happy but not really sad; not cynical but not innocent, either.

We are mystified. We ask him. Martinson looks up and says, “What expression?” – while making just that expression. We back away, and make excuses not to be alone with him anymore.
