“The Captive” / Memorable Fancies #1224

  I held him captive in my home, at first by force and then by suasion, finally through love. When I finally wanted him to leave I opened the door and stepped back. Defiantly, he stood in front of me. “No, you cannot let me out,” he said. “I won’t let you.” Regretfully then, shrugging my shoulders, I left the house.

     I have forgotten his name.
