“We’re Out of Time” / Memorable Fancies #1081

     Might someone feel a gap between past and present, like theater scenery shifting on greased wheels? Why does the past feel different from the present? Not just the same kind of thing only earlier, but … a time I remember … a time I can’t remember – because perhaps it never really happened; just painted scenery.
