Call It A Day

A day away from microfiction to celebrate October 23:

(1) Today is the 6017th anniversary of the world’s first day (according to calculations made by James Ussher, Archbishop of Armagh, in the 17th Century – actually, from late on the 22d to sundown on the 23d);

(2) Diwali, celebrated on October 23 this year by most Hindus; and

(3) The ____th birthday of Janice Kuch.

Everybody say huzzah.
