         Now, we don’t usually talk about virginity, and especially we don’t try to guess who is and who was but isn’t anymore, especially after that party at Brett’s, when…

         But we make an exception for Lila, because she’s proud of her virginity, holds it over us with a superior attitude, as if we were no better than pigs doing it all the time and rolling around in mud the while.

       We make fun of Lila but we’re jealous of her just the same: she has her first time coming, and we’ve lost all that, the anticipation, the letdown.
