Events are discontinuous; there are always lacunae. Our minds have evolved to disguise this, to fill in the blanks between the movie frames. Events break up, repeat, leave gaps. The mindfilm breaks and is spliced, not always cleanly. Among our bits and digits randomness grows, becomes parts of other stories, other people, other times or no time.
