     “Forgive me, Father, I have sinned in my dreams, done wicked things in my dreams, with my body and with other people’s bodies too.

     “Did I consent to these dreams? Now how could I…?

     “Well, perhaps, yes, Father, I suppose my unconscious must have wanted to dream about – these things.

     “Did I enjoy the dreams? Do you mean at the time, or after I awoke? Or even now, as we speak, as I caress them fondly in my mind?”
